WHY WAS IT CALLED THE MIDDLE PASSAGE

  • It shows us how the slaves were
  • Treated on the ship sailing across
  • The Atlantic Ocean.

WHO WAS INVOLVED

  • Amari and her family
  • Polly she was forced out of her home
  • In Ghana and she was sold in southcarolina

HOW MANY PEOPLE WERE AFFECTED

  • 300 to 400 people
  • Not enough space to place buckets
  • For human waste(disease was prevalent).

HOW MANY WEEKS/MONTHS WAS THE ROUT

  • It usually took 6 to 8 weeks
  • But bad weather could increase the weeks
  • To 13 or more weeks
