How Stars Are Formed

BY: Zacchaeus and Leslie

How Stars Are Formed

  • Universe was made of light elements.
  • Elements were produced by the big bang theory.
  • Stars are formed in Nebula which is a large cloud of gas and dust in space.
  • Also known as an interstellar cloud and are millions of light-years across

The Density of Matter

  • Interstellar space contains gas and dust
  • Very low Density
  • Nebula has a very high density.
  • Dust clouds can be dense enough to block the light emitted by nearby stars

Components of Nebula

  • Dust is not like the one in the house its small particles of dust.
