ASTHMA

Respiratory pathways become irritated and bronchioles constrict.

SYMPTOMS

It causes wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, and coughing.

BRONCHITIS

Respiratory pathways become infected, resulting in coughing.

SYMPTOMS

hard to breathe and causing other symptoms, such as a cough.

Emphysema

ALVEOLI BREAK DOWN, RESULTING IN REDUCED SURFACE AREA.

SYMPTOMS

Symptoms are cough, wheezing and shortness of breath.

PNEUMONIA

Infection of the lungs that causes alveoli to collect mucus material.

SYMPTOMS

Low fever, Chills, Muscle, aches, Fatigue

Pulmonary tuberculosis

A SPECIFIC BACTERIUM INFECTS THE LUNGS.

SYMPTOMS

SYMPTOMS INCLUDE FEVER, CHILLS, NIGHT SWEATS, LOSS OF APPETITE AND WEIGHT LOSS.

Lung cancer

UNCONTROLLED CELL GROWTH IN LUNG TISSUE THAT CAN LEAD TO A COUGH.

SYMPTOMS

CHEST, PAIN, COUGH THAT DOESN'T GO AWAY AND COUGHING UP BLOOD.
