KEY POINTS ABOUT MY SECTION

• The Church takes preparation for marriage seriously
• Some remote preparations: parents model Christian faith, the couple is trained in virtue and healthy attitude towards body and human sexuality
• Both marriage participants have a background of catechetical instruction, they have learned the basic truths of their faith, they received moral formation of the Ten Commandments and the Beatitudes
• They understand marriage as vocation and etc.

MORE ABOUT THE SECTION

• The couple takes care of certain necessities such as obtaining a civil marriage license, getting copies of Baptism certificates and filling out any other paperwork required
• They participate in diocesan-sponsored programs Ex: Engaged Encounter, Pre Cana, FOCUS and etc
• They prepare for the wedding Ex: buying rings, choosing music, choosing readings, and etc
