GENITAL HERPES

  • It is spread through viruses.

WHERE, WHO, AND WHAT AGE IS IT MOST COMMON.

  • 45 million people, 12 and older have Genital Herpes. 1/5 people have Herpes
  • Most common in Sub-Saharan Africa.

MOST COMMON WAY TO GET IT

  • You can get it through oral, anal, and vaginal sex.
  • It can be spread by touching the blistered area.

SIGNS AND SYMPTOMA

  • Blisters will form around mouth or genitals areas. Extremely painful burning.

COMPLICATIONS

  • It causes no serious medical issues.
  • Complications are rare.

IS IT TREATABLE/ CURABLE

  • It can be treated, but there can be sudden outbreaks. It is a disease that will always be with you.

IS IT PREVENTABLE.

  • Wear a condom or just don't have sex.
