About OCD
OCD stands for Obsessive
Compulsive
Disorder.It
is an anxiety disorder which affects 3 in 100 people.People may experience having obsessions or compulsions or both but people with OCD take it to the extreme with causes a lot of distress.

An Example is when people often wash their hands out of the fear of germs is caused by an uncontrollable thought.

Obsessions are having involuntary and seemingly uncontrollable thoughts images or impulses that often can be distracting.

Compulsions are behaviours or rituals that people feel the need to act out again and again (usually in an attempt to make obsessions go away.)
