Mathematics, geometry, engineering, and architecture were the skills you needed to know to build a pyramid.
At the top of The pyramid is where the kings chamber was located.
The temple was added to make offerings.
So they wouldn't be apart from their belongings the pharaohs were buried with their stuff.
Egyptians built pyramids to keep dead kings in.

Egyptians used hieroglyphics which was a system of writing that was based on pictures.
Hieroglyphics represented ideas or objects, but could also stand for sounds.
The first paper made keeping records in hieroglyphics easier.
