What is Parkinson's Disease
Who gets it?

Generally people over the age of 60 but 15% of individuals affected are below the age of 40

How many individuals are affected?

There is 1.5 million Americans affected by Parkinson's Disease with men being slightly more common

What are the symptoms?
Motor symptoms
1. Tremors
2. Balance difficulties
3. Slowness of movement
4. Reduced dexterity
5. Stiffness

Non-motor symptoms
1. Anxiety
2. Irritability
3. Cloudy mind/ Slowness of thoughts
4. Fatigue
5. Mood change
6. Cognitive Dysfunction
7. Hallucinations
