WHERE WE'RE GOING

THE SCHOOLS

• U.C Berkley is a highly valued school with an amazing campus, we would get to see several of the classrooms and opportunities present there (I'm particularly excited about seeing some of the things former Berkley students have done.)
• Stanford is the Harvard of the west. Highly regarded by most and known for it's amazing sports teams and technology classes. (They have several fields at Stanford that we would get the chance to go on!)

ALCATRAZ

• Alcatraz has been a dream destination for me since I was 10.
• The history of Alcatraz is a huge point of interest for me, the backstories of inmates especially.

PIER 39 & SANTA CRUZ BOARDWALK

• We get to go to the Santa Cruz boardwalk and enjoy amusement rides.
• We also get to go to the pier 39 aquarium! I am very excited to see the sea life.

WHAT HAS BEEN PUT FORWARD THUS FAR

• My parents have put forward $300 to start me off on my funding.
• I have put forward a lot of hours to show improvement in my scores and commitment to school and my family.
• My family has been nothing but supportive and I am thankful for that.

WHAT I HAVE DONE TO EARN MY SPOT TO GO

• I had to apply to go on the trip, fill out a mountain of paperwork and create an essay explaining why I should go.
• I have to maintain good grades and continue to show improvement and exceptional behaviour to stay on the list.

HERE IS THE PROBLEM

• I need $210 (this includes transportation, food, lodging, and admissions to all of these places)

WHAT I WILL DO

• I promise to continue to show improvement in everything I put my mind towards and not lose sight of my goals.
