The AAA was created in 1933.
The AAA stands for Agricultural Adjustment Act

The AAA paid farmers for not planting crops in order to reduce surpluses. This increased demand for seven major farm commodities and raised prices, many tenants and sharecroppers were pushed into unemployment.
