BEGINNINGS

  • Paul revere was born in late December, 1734.
  • He was baptized on January 1st.
  • Some people think that he was baptized and born on the same day.

BEFORE THE REVOLUTION

  • As a job before the American Revolution, he was a goldsmith or an artisan.
  • Although he was known as a goldsmith, he worked with more silver than gold.
  • He was a great part of the Sons of Liberty, and the Mason's group.

THE REVOLUTION!!!!

  • Paul Revere did his midnight ride on the day of April 18th , 1775
  • The battle of Lexington and Concord was on April 19th , 1775.
  • On that same day, the last towns were warned

AFTER THE REVOLUTION

  • Paul Revere was still involved in politics and the government.
  • He also decided to open a hardware store with his sons.

FUN FACTS

  • Paul Revere made bells that still hang in churches today.
  • Most of the metal he made wasn't made by him, but his apprentices, his two sons.
  • He had his own symbol that he imprinted on his work.
