John Hancock was born on January 23,1737 in Braintree,Massachusetts.It is now called Quincy,Massachusetts.
His parents died when he was 7 years old.After his parents died,His uncle adopted him.
After his uncle died in 1743,he became Vice Pres.of contential congress
He faced retribution for instigating the Boston tea party
Something he said was "there,I guess King George will be able to read without his spectacles
The he became president of contential congress
John died on January 23,1783 of natural causes.
