WHY CARS USE UNLEADED FUEL

  • Lead is extremely toxic. It hasn't been in gasoline for years
  • Because of the lead pollution that affects living cells and health
  • Especially in children. At the time it was abundant and cheap. But
  • Now other chemicals are used. And only unleaded is used.

TYPES OF GASES CARS EMIT

  • Cars emit carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides and hydrocarbon
  • The main one that causes air poisoning is carbon monoxide.

COMPARING DIESEL TO GASOLINE

  • Diesel uses less fuel per mile and makes less CO2 or carbon dioxide.
  • But it's not completely pollution free. With gasoline, carbon monoxide,
  • Nitrogen oxides, and particulate matter are in it. It all contributes to air pollution.
  • Both really aren't good for the environment.

THREE ENVIRONMENTAL EFFECTS OF CAR EMISSIONS

  • Vehicle emissions can emit greenhouse gasses such as carbon dioxide
  • And can contribute to global warming. Some pollutants from cars can be
  • Deposited on soil and surface waters where they enter the food chain
  • And also affect the reproductive, respiratory and immune system of animals.

THREE ENVIRONMENTAL EFFECTS OF CAR EMISSIONS

  • Nitrogen oxides and sulfur oxides that are released from cars
  • Are major contributors to acid rain. This changes the pH of water ways
  • And soils. It can harm the organisms that rely on these resources.

TYPES OF FLUID THAT CARS CONTAIN

  • Types of fluid that cars contain that May cause pollution are motor
  • Oil, break fluid, and windshield wiper fluid, etc.

FUEL FOR CARS THAT ARE ENVIRONMENTALLY SAFE

  • Types of fuel that are more environmentally
  • Safe are biodiesel and hydrogen fuel.
  • They both produce less pollutants.

SOLUTIONS FOR CAR EMISSIONS

  • Different solutions to improve the problem of car
  • Emissions would be walking to where you need to go,
  • Riding a bike and carpooling.
