Quote 1
"Two of his works, the Mona Lisa and The Last Supper, are the most famous, most reproduced and most parodied portrait and religious painting of all time... (Sinoorgin)"

Reproduction

This as you can see is more modern and much clearer than the actual version of The Last Supper this is because the person that painted this had more modern ways of painting it than Leonardo had such as: New styles of paints, tracing, laser etching ect...

Actual

This painting is much more fragile and delicate, because of the fresco paints da vinci used for this painting.
The reproduction of this painting on the last slide was created with state of the art oil paints that last much longer than the fresco paint Leonardo used in his original copy

Reason 2-
Leonardo Da Vinci's Last Supper influences
modern times through making funny parodies of its serious topic

Quote 2-
"In April of 2007, CulturePopped began compiling a list of the best parodies of the Last Supper featuring characters from television, film, and video games. (KnowYourMeme)"

This quote is shows how modern times influence or depict the serious topic of The Last Supper. CulturePopped is a convention of the most popular parodies of a certain topic they pick it is held very year and so happens that this year the topic was in fact The Last Supper. These pictures on the next slides show how from fast food to video games the culture influences the picture.
