  • Threats from patients.
  • Slips/falls
  • To much stress

HOW TO MINIMISE THE RISKS

  • Tell someone if you're being abused
  • Watch wear your going so you dont trip or slip
  • Take little breaks from your work if it gets to stressful
A way to minimise these risks are to wear protective clothing and to wash your hands to stop the illness passing on. When being abused by patients it's better to tell someone about it.

TENNIS

RISKS INVOLVED

  • Hitting someone with a tennis racket
  • Muscle injuries
  • Threats from fans

HARM MINIMISATION STRATEGIES

  • Keep your grip firmly on the racket.
  • Make sure the other person is ready.
  • Spread out around the court.
  • Stretch before playing
  • Have someone look out for you.

GOING HOME FROM A PARTY

RISKS INVOLVED

  • Car crashes
  • Running someone over
  • Being kidnapped
  • Raped

HARM MINIMISATION STRATEGIES

  • Don't drive home drunk
  • Take a ride home with a friend or family member
  • Organise a time to be picked up
  • Don't drink too much alcohol
  • Try to stay away from drugs
