Chlamydia

  • Known as "The clap"
  • Can potentially cause fatal ectopic pregnancy (pregnancy outside the womb)
  • Bactreial STD
  • Transmitted by having vaginal, oral, or anal sex

GONORRHEA

  • Most common among 15-24 year olds
  • 820000 new infections are reported annually
  • Bacterial STD
  • Transmitted through contact with the penis, mouth, vagina, or anus

  • There are 5 types of Hepatitis
  • Affects the liver
  • Viral STD
  • Transmitted by blood (sharing needles, anything that has blood of an infected person)

HERPes

  • There are [usually] no symptoms with Herpes
  • Most people with genital Hepes don't know they have it
  • Viral STD
  • Transmitted by contact with the Hepes sore through vaginal, anal, or oral sex

  • Increasing among gay and bisexual men

  • Passed through direct contact with the Syphillis sore (vaginal, oral, or anal sex)
