We believe the course of events that occurred in the play, "Romeo and Juliet", could have changed if the government and law aspect of the play changed, particularly how they are enforced, and what the kingdom of Verona and Mantua should have done in response to anyone violating the laws of the land.
In the play, the Government (or the kingdom of Verona in this play) have failed to enforce rules and laws of their city. This has led to an apothecary getting away with selling poison, an murderer, Tybalt, who looks innocent in others' eyes, and Romeo & Juliet's marriage without consent. Although these cases may not have broken anything entirely (other than their own lives), they did eventually lead to the deaths of Romeo and Juliet, which could have been prevented if these events have differed.
