INFORMATION ON ROHYPNOL

What is it?
Rohypnol is a depressant that mostly attacks the central nervous system. It slows heart rate, breathing, and the thought process.

Is it illegal and where is it found?
Rohypnol is banned in the U.S. So...
It gets to the U.S. by what you'd call an "underground market".

It comes from Mexican pharmacies. Rohypnol isn't banned in Mexico, so they then send it across the border (which is illegal).

WHAT ARE THE CONSEQUENCES❓

  • Decresing income
  • Failing grades
  • Addiction
  • Unstable relationships

How is put inside the body?
It is crushed, swallowed, snorted, or dissolved in liquids.

Addiction:
-addiction occurs after a significant period of time while taking it daily.
-withdrawals; seizures, hallucinations, headaches, anxiety, and insomnia occur after usage is stopped.

  • Helps cocaine addicts with coming down from a high
  • Has intense effects
  • Cheap
  • Helps with relaxing muscles
  • Can force you to sleep

  • 1 miligram dosage can have effects for at least 8 hrs.
  • It is a popular club drug
  • When dissolved in light liquids, the liquid will turn blue
  • Slows down your central nervous system
