My first book I read was the Tapper Twins Tear up New York.

The Author of The Tapper Twins Tear Up New York is Geoff Rodkey.

The Tapper Twins Tear Up New York is about Claudia and Reese Tapper. Claudia Tapper is writing a oral report on a scavenger hunt that happened. Their both twins who want to win a scavenger hunt for a fundraiser to get the prize, which is front row tickets to Madison Square Garden! There are 4 groups of teams and each are racing to win. Some cheat, some are lost, and some are on a date. It's a hilarious story that has a really surprising ending with the winner, who doesn't get called for cheating.

MAIN CHARACTERS

• Claudia Tapper- a girl who is the twin of Reese Tapper. She writes oral reports on events that go on in her life. She is the smart twin
• Reese Tapper- a boy who is the oldest twin of Claudia Tapper. Reese is smart, but sometimes is just plain dumb. He makes up a lot of words like- skronked,
• Mrs. Tapper- Claudia and Reese's mom who is having trust issues with her husband after the scavenger hunt truck "incident".
• Mr. Tapper- a husband who is sorry for lying to Mrs. Tapper about the "incident". Claudia and Reese's dad.
• Akash Gupta- older brother of one of Claudia's friends in 8th grade. He is a genius and hard to work with
• Sophie Koh- a best friend of Claudia
• Parvati Gupta- second best friend of Claudia and is tied with Carmen
• Carmen Gutierrez- Claudia's second best friend tied with Pavarti
• Wyatt Templeman- a friend of Reese who is a minor idiot( according to Claudia)
• Xander Billington- a friend of Reese, who's ancestors were on the Mayflower and is a major idiot( according to Claudia) and uses words like- " FIDDY K IN DA HIZZZZ-OUSE!"
• Jens Kuypers- technically a "friend" to Claudia who is very close and is dating Claudia.
• Fembots- the mean girls and cheaters of the scavenger hunt- Athena, Ling, Meredith, etc...
• James Mataloni- a weird boy in the book who eates hair and is on Reese's team.

My favorite part of the book was when the two Flubbies were fighting on the streets because The Fembots made one of the Flubbies to make a promise not to get a picture with Calvin the Cat. Then the Flubby promised and Claudie and her group came to take a picture and offered money, but Flubby said Flubby must be a role model to kids, so basically no. Then the other Flubby said he would take the picture for money and Claudia said no. Then the Flubby said be a role model and the other fought and kicked and then Carmen just put out the cat when the two Flubbies were fighting and then Claudia and the group ran off.

I would recommend this book to people who love comedy. Why I would is because this book is so funny with all the action that is happening and drama. You should seriously read this. I would rate this a 10/10

When I was reading, I didn't really have any questions because I still understood it. My comments are this book is amazing and it's hilarious. By the way, this is the second book. The first hook is The Tapper Twins Go To War( With Each Other). The third book is coming out and it's called The Tapper Twins Run For President. I am so excited for this funny book to come out.

My second book was " Nevermore", a biography on poet, Edgar Allan Poe.

So this book was about the life of Edgar Allan Poe. His mom and dad were performers. But soon later on, his mom died of Tuberculosis. His father had abandoned them before the mother had died. Edgar had a older brother, Henry, and a baby sister,Rosalie. Edgar was fostered by a wealthy family and separated by his old family. Later on, the ones he loved died of Turberculosis. That's weird. He married the love of his life, Virginia, his cousin. But soon, you guys know, she died of Tuberculosis. He became a poet before and after that. But he was most famous for " The Raven". A poem about man who is grieving and a raven( shadow) dooms his life with endless mourning. Edgar was a drinker. He drank and drank and tried marrying the other love of his life, but died. He was 40.

• Edgar Allan Poe- a man who lost love ones to Tuberculosis. He was a famous poet for writing " The Raven" and other poems. He was an alcoholic.

I didn't really have a favorite part. This biography was really sad. It shows him going through a lot of grief and he almost killed himself by having a drug overdose. He writes his pain through poetry, I guess that is the only thing I like in this biography. I would rate this book a 4/10

I chose this book because I really never knew a lot about Edgar Allan Poe. I know a lot now by reading all about him and the sad things he went through. He was great at poetry though. Knowing about people you never heard about is important to know so you know what difference they made in the world.

I recommend this book to people who love poetry and sad biographies on people. This is a book about a famous poet, who lost everything he loved. If you like this kind of book, you should read it.

I didn't have any questions because this was a biography and it explained everything I wondered about. The book basically explained all the pain and agony Poe went through and how it went through it.
