Two of the spiritual works of mercy are counseling the doubtful and admonishing the sinner. These spiritual works are carried out in NDP through the counseling program and the forgiveness of sins during mass. At NDP, counseling is available to all and is helpful to those who might need help or are doubtful. At NDP, admonishing the sinners is available through priests and pastors which help people find their way and correct their mistakes.
Two of the corporal works of mercy are feeding the hungry and sheltering the homeless. At NDP, all students complete community service which most are all corporal acts of mercy. Students can help feed the hungry in food banks, and can help the homeless find shelter in homeless shelters.
During Jesus' revelations to Saint Faustina on the Divine Mercy, He asked on many occasions that a feast day be made in honor to the divine mercy and that this feast be held on the Sunday after Easter.
