I ranked this as number three because disease is often why an empire is weakened, and the plague made the empire lose a lot of the workers they had. Because of this, trade and amount of soldiers went down, which are two very important aspects of the Roman Empire.

Military Problems

I ranked this as number two because the military/army was a huge thing about the Roman Empire, and when their military started to fall because of loyalty issues, that weakened the empire a bunch.

I ranked this as number one because naturally, when an empire gets invaded, it weakens the empire a bunch. Plus, the more wars they were involved in, the more money they have to spend, and the more money they have to spend, the more the economy starts to fall.
