HEAVENLY FLAPJACKS

Irresistable healthy flapjacks!

These flapjacks are totally yummy but so healthy you wont believe it or feel guilty!

Ingredients:

  • 150g Organic Coconut oil
  • 5 Tbs Organic Honey
  • 200g Porridge Oats
  • 25g Sunflower Seeds
  • 30g Pumpkin Seeds
  • 30g Chia Seeds
  • 125g Nuts (Almond,Brazil, Cashew, Hazelnut or a combination of nuts)
  • Pinch Ground Cinnamon powder
  • 100g Dark Chocolate (70%)

Preheat the oven to 180 C/350F/Gas 4
Lightly oil 23cm baking tin.

Melt coconut oil and honey over a gentle heat.

Mix oats, seeds and nuts thoroughly. Add cinnamon powder.

Pour honey mixture over oat mixture and stir well to mix.

Pour into the baking tin and press down firmly. Bake for 20-25mins until golden brown. Then leave in the tin to cool.

Melt the dark chocolate and spread on the top of the cooled flapjacks.

Cut into 12 pieces when the chocolate has set hard.
Enjoy!

Try not to eat them all at once...although it is hard not to!
