DEDICATED

CESAR CHÁVEZ WAS DOING THE 36 DAY FAST FOR LIFE IN DELANO, CALIFORNIA IN 1988. TO RAISE AWARENESS FOR THE PESTICIDES AT THE FARMS.

This act of fasting shows that Cesar Chavez dedicated because he didn’t eat for 36 days and kept going on to the marches and protests even though he felt weak.

GALLANT

In 1946 Cesar Chávez joined the Navy Western Pacific for two years at the age of seventeen even though the other people in the Navy discriminated him because he speaker spanish.

The act of joining the Navy shows that Cesar Chávez was gallant because he was brave to fight in World War 2 and when people discriminated him he always kept his cool.

COMPASSIONATE

In 1958 Cesar Chávez met Fred Ross and helped with Community Service Organization (CSO) registered 6,000 Mexican-Americans to vote. In 1965 National Farm Workers association (NFWA) is created in Delano, California. In 1966 the 250 mile march from Delano to Sacramento California. In 1988 the 36- day fast for life to bring attention to dangerous pesticides. Including many other protests.

Doing these acts show that Cesar Chávez was compassionate because he cared about others to he didn’t just do it for himself or even the farm workers he did it for everyone that was being discriminated in some way.
