Some special items the jews wear are:

  • Kippah: a hat that reminds him that he is always duty bound to follow the laws of god at all times at all places.
  • Tallit: a prayer shawl that some jews put on before worshiping or praying.
  • Tefilin: a small leather box with long leather straps attached that is worn on the left forearm and on the forehead.

Boy/girl ceremonies
When boys become adults in the eyes of jewish religion they celbrate bar mitzvah while girls celebrate bat mitzvah.

Marriage:

They call marriage kiddushin.

Glass is broken at a jewish wedding to remind them that their joy will never be complete until the holy temple in jerusalem is rebuilt.

Jewish Celebrations:

The passover is celebrated to commemorate the liberation of the children of isreal who were led out of slavery in eygpt by moses.

Rosh Hashanah is the jewish new year festival and commemorates the creation of the world.

Hannukkah or chanukkah is the jewish festival of lights.
