Geological history:
It established in 1872 located along the continental divide within the Middle Rocky Mountains.

How it was created:
The hotspot formed in the earths mantle it pushed a large plume of magma toward the earths surface.

What was created because of that boundary:
Yellowstone's volcanoes created more than ten thousand geothermal features.

Natural hazards that affect the region:
Distant earthquakes can affect Yellowstone.

Is it still affected by plate movement:
Yes, because yellowstone sits over a huge hotspot and since it's a hotspot the North American plate moved over it.
