P.E INQUIRY

Don't Be nervous!

  • Whether your worried about not improving, nervous you won't get in a group with your friends or just plain don't want to do it. it'll all workout! ( Get it? Work Out?! Okay yeah bad pun.)
  • Most people improve from their first scores If you don't want to do it, be excited, sometimes it can be fun
  • And if you really want to be with your friends sometimes its better not to be because if you want to get a good grade (yes they will grade your workouts and presentation) sometimes your friends can get you off task

What you should do

  • Coming into P.E and grabbing workouts
  • Getting equipment and starting workouts
  • Improving on the Pacer/Pushup Test

What you shouldn't do

  • Sit around NOT doing workouts
  • Playing in the epuipment room
  • Wandering around the Gym

workouts

  • First you'll choose cardiovascular endurance(Pacer) or Muscular Endurance (pushups)
  • Then, you'll be put in groups based on what you picked
  • Next, you and your group will create a workout plan
  • Lastly, Youll start working out!

Push up and shove

  • Materials: Basketball, Mat
  • At least 2 people needed
  • You and your partner(s) will get in pushup position and do a pushup
  • Each time you do a pushup you shove the ball to you partner(s)

Hands and Elbows

  • Materials: Mat
  • Indvisual Workout
  • Get in pushup Position
  • One arm will go into plank position then the next arm and then back to pushup position
  • Do as many times as needed

burpee Ball Throw

  • At least 2 people needed
  • Materials: Mat, ring, 2 balls
  • Start by having the ball in front of you on the ground
  • Next go down into a push up then stand back up and throw the ball
  • Repeat as many times as needed

Mat Pushups

  • Indivusal Workout
  • Materials: Mat
  • Put your feet on the mat and do a push up
  • Repeat as needed

Up clap down pass

  • Modified version of push up and shove
  • Doesn't really work on muscular endurance
  • Gets your heart beat up
  • At least 2 people needed
  • Get on knees in pushup position
  • Do a push up, then clap, down then shove the ball
