EFFECTS ON THE PUBLIC SERVICES

  • Student riots resorted in large scale police deployment
  • Paramedics would have also been on full alert with all the injuries
  • Firefights called out to put out fires
  • Tuition fees effected the policing college

EFFECTS ON THE COMMUNITY

  • Lots of young people now opt not to go to Uni
  • Uni is now seen as something that only the middle classes can afford
  • Fewer people are now getting degrees
  • Less about who's genuinely good and more about who can afford a degree?
