I chose the brain to represent the characteristics of the cell organelles because cell organelles are small “organs” of the cell that do different things for it, kind of like the brain for our bodies.

I chose airport security to represent the characteristics of the cell membrane because the membrane controls what comes in and out of the cells, good stuff or bad stuff. Airport security monitors what comes in and out of the airport.

I chose the balloon to represent the characteristics of the cytoplasm because cytoplasm take up negative space inside the cells so things can float around. Kind of like how air takes up negative space in a balloon so it doesn’t deflate.

I chose the staircase to represent the characteristics of the DNA because similarly to a DNA cell, stairs hold things on them like DNA holds genetics.

I chose the beef jerky to represent the characteristics of the ribosomes because like ribosomes beef jerky makes proteins in your body just like how ribosomes make protein in the cells

I chose the short person to represent the characteristics of the smallness of a cell because they’re both very small.
