THE DARKEST PATH

IN THE BEGINNING

• The two brothers are kidnapped by the path and they want to escape.

BEAR AND QUARLES

• Callum breaks his arm.
• Callum finds a dog named Bear, and Quarles wants him to become an attack dog.
• Callum disagrees, so Quarles decides to beat Bear with a club.
• Callum ends up shooting and killing Quarles,and leaves him in a bathroom.

RUNNING

• Callum, Bear, and James run away from the Path's base, using Quarles' truck.
• They meet a man name Gray, who is going to help them.

GREY'S SACRIFICE

• Wade is going to help them get over the Wyoming border.

WYOMING (ALMOST)

• Callum and Bear go in search of Wade.
• Callum then meets Ellie, who lives with Wade. She wants to help Callum and Bear.
• Wade then finds out and threatens to kill them both, but Ellie stops him.
• Wade lends Callum and Bear his truck, so they can make it to the Wyoming border.

JAIL

• She works for the Federal army and plans to attack the Path.

STRANDED

• The two sides fight for some time.
• Nat and Callum escape on a helicopter, and it then crashes in South Dakota.
• They get stranded, and are found by two people named Kate and Alex.
• Kate and Alex live in a house with some of their friends and Federal body guards.
• They are planning to head to New York, so they can be safe from the war.

PLANE FIGHT

• Callum decides to go to New York with the group.
• Then, they change their minds, and decide to go to Canada instead.
• Callum is frustrated until he hears the Federal body guards say that they are going to continue on to Philadelphia.
• Callum knows that Philadelphia is not far from New York, so he decides to go with the body guards instead of staying in Canada.
• That night, Callum and the group arrive at the plane, where they run into a problem.

A BAD FEVER

• The group runs into some Path soldiers, and they fight to get on the plane.
• Alec and two other body guards die in combat.
• Then, Callum comes down with a bad fever and and is taken to camp Kestrel.
• While there, he passes out for a week because of his fever.

THE CHOICE.

• At the camp, Callum learns that Nat has volunteered for a suicide mission to kill the Path president.
• The President offers Callum a job working for the Path, which he ends up taking.
• At the Path camp, he finds his brother James. James gets mad that Callum received an elite job.
• That night, Callum goes to talk with the president.
