RELEVANCY
Look for the value in the process of doing something that you might find irrelevant (such as taking a “pointless” class).
Build intellectual muscle by getting involved.
The relevancy of a class isn’t always found in its subject matter.
To evolve, get involved.

BOREDOM
It’s easier to control boredom if you recognize it when it begins.
Try to act like you’re engaged in class even if you’re not; it could actually help reduce your boredom.
Don’t let boredom become a life-long mental habit; it could cause you to deal with it in unhealthy ways.

PROCRASTINATION
Procrastinating will not only mean that you still have to do it, but you will also experience more stress since you have to rush to get it done.
Don’t avoid doing things because you “don’t feel like doing them”.
Often, jumping into tasks you don’t want to do will give you enough energy and motivation to finish them.

LISTENING
Listening is a critical part of learning.
When you’re getting distracted or judgmental due to your surroundings or thoughts, think “Not now!” and refocus.
Try to process information or try to get in “The Zone”, when your mind is quiet and calm.
