History Hall of Fame

By: Katie Moroney

I think Thomas Jefferson should be inducted into the History Hall of Fame. This is because he has great achievements.

Jefferson tells the people in his first Inaugural Address that he will "advance with the obedience to the work, ready to retire from it whenever you become sensible how much better choice it is in your power to make".

Another achievement Jefferson made was being part of the Virginia Declaration of Rights. These people wrote the rights that pertain them.

When Jefferson was president, he developed the Republican Party. He achieved making the federal government have less control.

Jefferson's Declaration of Independence was a great achievement. It set the "natural equality, the inalienable rights of man, the sovereignty of the people, and the right of revolution".
