THE BACKGROUND

• The Battle took place in 1775
• One of the first battles
• Pretty much the first real battle of the whole war
• England thought colonies would back away easily...

THE FIRST ATTACK

• England came in bunches
• Rebels smoked 'em, they shot a bunch of them down
• England was not prepared, but they weren't finished

THE SECOND ATTACK

• The British came in columns
• Objects in field were obstacles
• Rebels still held them off

THE FINAL ATTACK

• The British had 400 troops of reinforcements
• Americans were running out of ammo
• Americans were trampled and were forced to retreat
