Russia factories produce heavy machinery, such as electric motors and tractors. In Siberia it has mines for gold, copper, lead, and diamonds. In the North Sea and Russia, people drill for petroleum and natural gas.
German factories produce steel, automobiles and electronics. Europe is largely land farm. Commercial farms are spread out along river valleys and across the vast European plain.
Russia is also a major producer of hydroelectricity power. Most of this power comes from dams located along Russia rivers. In Southern Russia, farmers grow a wide variety of crops, from wheat to apples.
In the Western Europe, farmers use machines to produce large cash crops, in the poorer parts of the Eastern Europe, however some family's are limited to subsisten d farming on small plots of land
