• Heat being directly transmitted through a substance when there is a difference in temperature.

CONVECTION

• The motion of warm material that rises .

RADIATION

• Emission of energy as electromagnetic waves.

Conduction is being created as heat from the hair straightner is being directly transmitted to my hair.

Convection is being created as the warm air from the blow dryer rises to my hair

Radiation is being created as the electromagnetic waves of the phone are warming it and warming my hands as well
