  • He built the Grand Central Depot on 42nd Street in new York
  • Railroads changed peoples lives because this was a way to get items and goods to people much faster and more efficiently

JOHN D. ROCKEFELLER

  • He started as clerk for a Cleveland merchant and became the richest man in the world
  • He owned 90% of the oil industry and made Rockefeller standard oil
  • Rockefeller changed peoples lives because without him we wouldnt have the gas we have now

  • His meat company bought their own rail cars to ship meat and he also found out how to make glue and then he started making glue
  • He changed the way we live today because people use glue every day and we eat meat almost everyday

  • He was an American labor union leader
  • He was responsible for all the labor workers that worked in america
  • This changed are lives because this is what started jobs and what really got the world working

MOST IMPACT

  • I think that Cornelius Vanderbilt had the biggest impact because he elevated the standards for means of transporting goods. When he built the central station this really made it so much faster so therefore this helped so many people in getting their goods faster theirfore making more money faster and helped more people
