PRESENTATION OUTLINE
This is Mallory J. Jennings, she is 11 years old
Mallory was diagnosed with Hemophilia type A at 5 months old.
Hemophilia is a rare blood disorder.
In which the blood doesn't clot normally.
The main signs and symptoms of the disorder are excessive bleeding and easy bruising
People who have Hemophilia have little or no clotting factor at all
If you have Hemophilia you may bleed longer than others after injury
This bleeding could cause damage to your organs and tissue
Hemophilia is passed down from parents to their children's genes.
In this case Mallory's mom had passed it down to her when she was born.
Without adequate treatment, many people who have Hemophilia die before reaching adulthood
So children can look forward to having a normal life expectancy
Mallory's dream destination has always been to go to an Atlantis Resort for 5 days in the Bahamas
There wouldn't be any special transportation needed, as Mallory is allowed to travel on planes
Mallory would need blood shots containing clotting factors such as fibrin and plasma which needs to be injected twice a week.
The shots of blood should be contained in a cool environment to be preserved
Mallory could be not more grateful or exhilarated to be given an opportunity to go on this trip
Help Mallory's smile come back to life by giving her an opportunity to go on her dream trip
