20's- Women mainly worked as flappers, teachers, social workers, or nurses. They worked the jobs they wanted to work
30's- Married women who worked were ridiculed for having full time jobs outside of their homes, Had to work whatever jobs they could find, and women were paid half as much as men were
The Roaring 20's and the dirty 30's have almost nothing in common. The 20's truly didn't have much downfall until 1929 when the stock market crashed. The 30's were primarily taken over by the Great Depression which led into World War II. The two decades are completely opposite from each other and it shocking to see how quick it all changed.
