• Parents or family members are welcome to join a student for lunch during a student's assigned lunch time.
• The guest and student will be given a special spot at a guest table to enjoy each other's company.
• Due to federal and state guidelines we can not allow restaurant food to be brought into the cafeteria.

• BES uses Pbis (positive behavioral interventions and supports) school wide.
• In the classroom students keep track of their own behavior using a class clip chart.

• Parent volunteers make a world of difference.
• In order to volunteer or chaperone a field trip you must have an approved background check on file with the school and complete a short volunteer training.
• Background checks cost $10 and are good for 3 years.

• Be tickets are an important part of our school wide Pbis program.
• Be tickets can be given by any staff member to a student who is following correct procedures in common areas.
• Students can earn special eagle eye tickets for showing empathy, compassion, and friendship.
