EROTIC LOVE

• Desire two people have for union of their bodies and souls, hearts and minds
• Goes beyond sexual attraction

ROMANTIC LOVE

• "Falling in love"
• Beautiful and energizing
• Cannot sustain a relationship alone

NURTURING LOVE

• Fostering the good of needy, poor, homeless, hungry, or helpless persons
• All people are our sisters or brothers

LOVE OF NATURE

• Caring for the earth as the fitting home of all God's children
• Love all human beings as well
• Seek to foster the good of the earth

LOVE OF GOD

• Need to love ourselves, our neighbors, and creation
• Seeking and fostering the good of other people and of creation
