WHAT HAPPENED?

  • Began during the Holocausts
  • Around 1933-45
  • Jewish people were put in concentration camps, and tortured
  • People ran with thier families, and left everything behind
  • Over half left or was killed during the first six years

  • Palestine, South/Central America, U.S., Shanghi

  • Loss of rights
  • Concentration Camps
  • Death

  • Safety
  • Equality
  • Freedom
  • Refugee exceptance

MIGRATION CLASSIFICATION

  • The migration was forced, and international.
  • Ravenstien, Zelinsky, and Sjasstad's models do not resemble this.
  • There was no economic push or pull factors.
  • The age and genders of migrants are intermixed.
  • The migrants are moving to rural and urban areas.

AFFECTS OF MIGRATION

  • The Jewish population in Germany was vastly depleted
  • Because of emigration,deportation, and murder
  • Jewish culture has spread worldwide

CHANGES TO THE MIGRANT GROUP

  • The population is spread all over the world
  • Loss of over 75% of the original population
  • Slowly building up again
  • Loss of culture and respect

My prediction:
I think that the Jewish population will continue to increase, but never be at the same strength again.
