Question 1 & 2

  • William Shakespeare was born April 1564 in Stratford-upon-Avon, United Kingdom.
  • He retired around 1613 at the age 49. Then he passed away three years later on April 23, 1616.

Question 3

  • William Shakespeare type of genre he wrote poetry, playwright, and comedy

Question 4

  • Some of his work that I had really like out of these three categories comedy, tragedy, and poetry. Comedy was: As You Like It, Tragedy was: Romeo and Juliet (“Romeo ol’ thy ought thy Romeo”), and Poetry was: Venus and Adonis.

  • Well by the age four or five, young William Shakespeare was enrolled at the King's New School in Stratford, a grammar school there are no documents when or at what age did he left. He knew as a writer education was very important.
  • William’s parents were John and Mary Ardene Shakespeare. Also William was the fourth child out of the eight, only five of whom survived to adulthood.

  • Why William started writing there is no full evidence why he did, but I can assure you he did it for all the right reasons. That was to entertain people, to build laughter, and romance. His inspiration came from great authors like Ovid and Seneca, to English historians like Holinshed which was Shakespeare’s greatest influence.

  • There was one thing that got my attention about Shakespeare's plays they were only performed in the afternoon. Why? because of weather conditions, and the number of people who attend.

Question 8

  • Readers should started studying Shakespeare because the way this man made himself into a businessman is an inspiration itself to someone. His writing and dialogues are typically hard to read and to understand, but it’s worth all the time in the world because there will never be another famous William Shakespeare.
