When I care for things such as money, I am not obeying God. When I only care for God and his will, I will receive many gifts from God. I can do this by appreciating all that I have.
When others hurt, it hurts humanity. I can comfort those who hurt and by doing this I can strenghen my relationship with God. When I feel hurt, I rely on others to cheer me up, I want to do the same for everyone.
I can be meek by giving love to anyone and everyone. I will have courage to stand up for others in a gentle way. I will respect my elders by being polite and patient. I will have respect for all by being humble and gentle.
Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness
I can live this beatitude by standing up for people who don't have a voice. I can listen to those who are not heard. I love all who feel unloved by helping someone or just smiling at someone.
I can live this beatitude by forgiving all that have hurt me. I know that when most people hurt me, they don't mean it, so I forgive them. If someone is rude and mean, I will not patronize them. I will love as Jesus loved.
I can live this beatitude by following God's will. God made me in his image, and he made me a person. Since he gave me so much, so I follow his commands. I will not put money or games above God, I will pray to him, thanking him for all he has done for me.
I can live this beatitude by accepting myself. By accepting myself, I open myself up to the possibility of spreading peace. I can spread peace by being kind and generous. I can also spread peace by loving all.
Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness
I can live this beatitude by knowing how lucky I am. By knowing and understanding that early Christians fought for me and all Christians today, I can understand what they did for righteousness. I can live happy and understanding of all the sacrifices that early Christians made for me.
