Quinceanera tradition is believed to have started years ago when Spanish conquerors brought the tradition to Mexico, many say it was originated by the Aztecs. A quinceanera celebration is a Hispanic tradition, following Mexicans, and sometimes central, South American cultures.
The girl wears a ball gown with petticoat, tiara, and gloves. Dresses are either white, and occasionally pastel colors such as red, royal blue, and burgundy.
