  • Katrina was a level 5 hurricane, which is the most extreme it can get. It destroyed multiple parts of the united states area.
  • The land it hit was fine, until the hurricane hit. In the end, it ended up basically covering the areas in water, creating a flood.
  • Katrina didn't cause any dorms or disasters afterwards, but did did the damage of multiple storms.

  • Many people, plants, and animals lived in the area before it hit. A lot of them either died, went missing, or were injured.
  • Many non-living like signs, houses, cars, and more were destroyed during the hurricane.
  • I think this event changed the biodiversity a little bit. It wiped out many different large numbers of animals, and destroyed habitats for some.
  • People consider Katrina the worst hurricane to hit in a long time.
