What are they

  • Common COLD - Viral infeCTION in nose and/or throat.
  • Athlete's foot - fungal infection on foot.
  • Hookworm - nematode worms that suck on blood vessels by entering the animal's intestines.

  • Common cold - Virus
  • Athlete's foot - fungus
  • Hookworm - parasite

HOW THEY TRANSIT

  • Common cold - inhaling sneeze/cough from infected.
  • Athlete's Foot - step on contaminated object(s).
  • Hookworm - Larvae can enter skin, and grow inside.

  • cc - loss of hunger, runny nose, dry throat...
  • af - Rashes, loose skin, blisters...
  • Hw - black and tarry blood, nausea, gas...

TREATMENTS

  • Cc - Ibprophen, Advil, Tylenol...
  • AF - Oxistat, lotrimin, Ciclodan...
  • HW - ALbendezole, mebendazole...

How to prevent them

  • cc - wash hands often, control stress, don't smoke...
  • af - keeping feet clean & dry, allow your feet to relax sometimes
  • HW - don't walk on or touch places where hookworms dwell, like fecal matter
