SETTING

  • Setting is a time and place where the story takes place.
  • Place, time, weather conditions, social conditions, and mood or atmosphere.

CHARACTER

  • There are many different types of characters.
  • Round characters- are relatable to what you would expect of actual human beings.
  • Flat characters- they have personalities that are briefly described.
  • Dynamic- they have many sides that change through out the story.
  • Static- these characters have one or two characteristics that never change but are emphasized.

CHARACTER

  • Protagonist is the main character.
  • Antagonist rises the conflict.

PLOT

  • Exposition is the introduction to the story.
  • Rising action is an incident that builds a conflict.
  • Climax is when the conflict is at its highest point.
  • Falling action is when the conflict starts to be solved.
  • Resolution is when conflict is resolved.

  • Conflict is struggle or argument in the story.
  • Human vs. human
