HOW TO HELP MY GRANDMA PLANT A GARDEN

WHY I LIKE IT

• I like this because it is fun to be outside with my grandma.
• I like to watch things grow.

• Grandma has a special place in her yard to garden and grow vegetables
• There is a fence in her garden for the beans to grow up on.

• We take garden tools out to the garden.
• We make small holes in a row along the fence.

• Grandma cuts a bag of bean seeds open and puts some in my hand.
• I bend down to put one seed in each hole .

• Grandma covers the seeds with dirt.
• We use the gardenhose to spray water where we planted

• We go inside to take a break.
• We have cookies and milk

WHY IT’S IMPORTANT

• Other people should plant a garden because it is fun to do it
• It gets you fresh air
