Purpose or function of a process
Photosynthesis: to convert sunlight into chemical energy
Cellular respiration: uses oxygen and glucose to release energy
Fermentation: cells release from food without oxygen

Location of process
Photosynthesis: inside a plants chloroplasts
Respiration: cytoplasm and mitochondria

Which cell is it found in??
Photosynthesis: is found in plant cell
Respiration and Fermentation are both found in both animal and plant cells

Reactants and products
P: light energy+6Co2+6H2O----- glucose + water
R: Glucose + oxygen----- 6Co2 + water
F: Glucose

Wastes and uses of cell
P: their waste is oxygen and uses hydrogen and carbon dioxide
R: uses glucose and oxygen and one waste is carbon dioxide

SIMILARITIES AND DIFFERENCES

  • The all produce energy
  • They all use glucose
  • One difference is that Photosynthesis uses sun energy
  • Another is that Respiration uses only oxygen and glucose to get their products
  • The last is that Fermentation doesn't use oxygen to create energy

How does Photosynthesis and Respiration work together??
Photosynthesis needs carbon dioxide and water that respiration releases and Respiration needs oxygen and glucose that come from photosynthesis
