CHALLENGES OF SACRIFICE AS A SOPHMORE

• Don't have lots of our own money to give away
• We aren't completely responsible yet
• Difficult for us to give up time with our friends for time with God/family
• Hard to give up activities/sleep for school
• Teens can tend to be selfish and many think the world revolves around theirselves

OVERCOME THE CHALLENGE

• Set aside certain times in the week for family
• Putting schoolwork ahead of friends or extra curricular activities
• Always incorporate God in your everyday activities
• Realize who is truly there for you and realize that God and family will always be there but friends and extra curricular so may not

WHAT RESOURCES HELP/WHAT DO YOU NEED

• Gods guidance
• Service opportunities
• Support from family and friends
• Encouragement to sacrifice
• Love for family, God and education because sacrifice is the biggest form of showing love

PLAN TO IMOROVE

• Spend, at least, one full day with family rather than friends
• Finish all your homework before going on social media or chatting with friends
• Sacrificing hanging out with friends if your family needs you
• Be aware that there are things more important than yourself
