ORGAN FUNCTIONS
Heart-pumps blood-upper two chambers, atria, receive blood from body- lower two chambers, called ventricles, pump blood to the body
Blood vessels- carry blood from the heart to the body and back again.
5.
HOW IT WORKS WITH OTHER SYSTEMS
It works with every organ system in your body except the integumentary system by delivering blood to the organs.
It especially works with the respiratory system, because your lungs exchange carbon dioxide in your blood with oxygen.

HEART FAILURE

To lower your risk, avoid illegal drugs, avoid smoking, be at a healthy weight, be active, and follow a heart healthy diet

HYPERTENSION
Dangerously high blood pressure
Chronic
Can be prevented and treated by eating less salt and more healthy foods, exercising regularly, and taking medication that lowers blood pressure.
